Srinagar Police establishes helpline for senior citizens | KNO

Srinagar, Apr 02 (KNO): Srinagar Police has taken an initiative of reaching out to the senior citizens of District Srinagar by way of a helpline, who don't have anyone around in these testing times and can call Srinagar Police on the given numbers for any kind of help, so that they are not forced by the circumstances to move out of their houses in search of essentials. “Keeping in view the emerging situation of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the lockdown in Srinagar city, large number of senior citizens must be facing difficulties in meeting out their basic needs in the times of a global crisis. To reach to the Senior Citizens, District Police Srinagar has launched a helpline help for senior citizens in distress,” the statement issue to wire service—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said. Srinagar Police is committed to reach out to the people in distress. DySP DAR Srinagar has been appointed as the nodal officer for District Srinagar and who can be contacted on.
